"Play Hard, Play Fair"
Chipping Norton Netball started around the kitchen table in 1983 of a couple of mums wanting to introduce the sport into their area. Its known for its 'family environment'. We pride ourselves on a wide variety of ages and skill levels. The teams range from the youngest age group at Bankstown to Division 1(Highest Grade in Bankstown).
CNNC is also well known for its umpires, although only a small family club it boasts a strong and enthusiastic band of umpires. The coaches are also keen and motivated with many being recognised for their achievements over the years. Chipping Norton has The Bankstown Netball Association Academy Coach and Three Representative Coaches.
The club became affiliated with Chipping Norton Sports Club wearing the green and gold colours. Its motto is 'Play Hard. Play Fair'. In its earlier days the club consisted of only junior teams but has grown to include a number of senior teams comprising players who have been with the club for over 20 years. The club plays under Bankstown City Netball Association and since its inception has enjoyed many successes. In 1999 the Club sent a 14 Years team to compete at the South Pacific Netball Championships in Fiji. The team came in fifth, only losing to the eventual winners. The club was also successful in winning the 14 YEARS NSW Club Challenge in 1999 and the 15 YEARS NSW Club Challenge in 2002. In the local competition Chipping Norton has been awarded Junior and Senior Club Champions on a few occasions, 2018 being our most recent.
